Transmission System
Gelan Machinery (GL MOTO) independently develops and manufactures its own gearboxes, supplying many well-known motorcycle and all-terrain vehicle companies. The founder is a former engineer at a well-known Chinese state-owned motorcycle enterprise (*1), with extensive experience, particularly specializing in ATV/UTV transmission systems.

- Compared with chain drive
1.1 Gear drive can withstand higher traction force and is less prone to deformation. In contrast, chains in a chain drive tend to elongate during use, becoming loose and more likely to slip off, resulting in a higher failure rate.
1.2 Chains in a chain drive are exposed and easily worn, requiring frequent replacement. Key components of a gear drive are enclosed in a protected environment, giving it a maintenance interval dozens of times longer than that of a chain drive. (Recommended maintenance: once per year, replace lubricating oil.) - Compared with conventional gearboxes
Gelan’s self-developed gearbox features a compact structure, high overall rigidity, and occupies less space.

- GL-200 Equipped with an Automatic CVT Transmission, the vehicle allows effortless operation — ideal for beginner and intermediate riders.
- The gear-driven rear-wheel system enhances drivetrain reliability and allows greater flexibility for the rear suspension setup, providing smoother articulation on uneven terrain.
- Gears: Forward / Neutral / Reverse (D-N-R)
Suspensions

Front/Rear: Dual A-Arm Independent Suspension.
Giving it stable performance across a range of terrains.
The system design allows for longer travel shocks and improved comfort even when cornering or tackling bumps.
Frame / Chassis

The overall vehicle weight is about 20 kg heavier than competitors in the same class, reflecting the use of high-quality materials and resulting in strong body rigidity. This ensures safety and reliability under high-intensity off-road conditions. Even non-critical parts, such as the rear fender shown in the image, are built with reinforced multi-layer structures.
Built around a durable tubular steel frame, the structure prioritizes simplicity and strength.
While not as heavily reinforced as higher-end performance models, it offers reliable protection for recreational and youth applications.
